There are certain things in life that capture my heart. Whether they be abstract or material, the things that capture me are the ones that truly inspire me. These things grasp my heart, capture my imagination and dance around in my veins. One of those things is love. I talk about it so much because love is truly the source of my survival. Some people can handle love in small doses, here and there with complacency. I am not one of those people.
I prayed a long time ago for a love like chaos. A kind of frenzied love that is calming and passionate and daring. A kind of love that pushes you to dance on the shoreline of life and boldly face the oncoming tides.
A love like chaos makes you stay up late into the night talking about your dreams and places you are dying to go. A love like chaos makes you laugh at the smallest things, approach life with an open mind and make meals together with your favorite playlists in the background. A love like chaos makes your heart flutter when you see it approach, makes you fight when you know it's worth it and makes everything you do an adventure.
A love like chaos makes you work and become a good listener, it makes you considerate, compassionate and lively. A love like chaos chases you down in the depths of your soul and keeps on going. A love like chaos makes you dream, wonder and hope. A love like chaos inspires you, trusts you not to break it's current and pulls you into beautiful sunsets and sunrises. A love like chaos meets you at the horizon and gives you a new view again and again.
For no one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:12
My love like chaos is calming and soothing, fiery and unbreakable. I am thankful for the blessing that we have to love one another. Because not only is it a command, it's a dangerously beautiful adventure that I am just captured by. God creates a love like chaos and sails it to our hearts...I have found mine. :)
