"It's true that while ambition creates fear, it also creates the story. But it's a good trade, because as soon as you point toward a horizon, life no longer feels meaningless."
There are several words that describe a life full of ambition. The majority of those words scare most people so much, that they'd rather be full of the thought of being ambitious. That is the risk free life. And I have worshipped it too many times to count in my lifetime.
Ambition means facing the world and all of it's negativity and disease. It means being confident, not just acting like it. It means taking any doubts and fears that come against you and still push on anyway. It means that even though your plans will fail and it'll feel like you're the only one that understands what you're on this earth to do, that you keep going. Ambition leaves no room for hesitation. It calls you to be inspired and full of hope. It calls you to be determined and open minded.
Our lives are not being written just so God has another average story to tell. There has to be some grit, some realness to what He is crafting in your story. The risk free life can't be real with you and it won't save you any pain. In fact, it'll only cause you more. Fill yourself up with the stuff that makes your heart pound and your face light up. Be ambitious. And do it because God doesn't want to see another one of His creations fall victim to missing out on the story He has for them.
