Ready for snow, hot chocolate and seeing decorations everywhere!

I am just not understanding this warm weather in November! I want it to be cold...like almost snow weather cold:)I hope this gets made up for in January or February...I need me some cold weather now!! Anyhoo, wanted to take some time out to write what's been going/what's been on my heart lately. I have some really cool information I'm going to throw at you guys so get ready!

1.) I have been having book ADD. I started off reading Natalie Llyod's Paperdoll (absolutely amazing in way too many ways!!) and I'm almost done with that. But I also started Say You're One of Them by Uwem Kapan. (Caution: it will prpbably give you nightmares, make you sick to your stomach and cry. But it is too good not to read.) I have also been doing on/off study of the life and ministry of Paul by Beth Moore. Ah! I plan to use THanksgiving break and December to really get caught up on my reading...so excited:) Check out those books though my friends...they will change your lives no doubt.

2.) I got in a fight with a creepy crawler in my closet this morning...just for the record, I won! It's fate of the whirling waters of the toilet was unpreventable. It had it coming:)

3.) Have you ever taken a spiritual gifts test?? At our wonderful church of Lifechurch.tv we are doing a series over Ghost. We are studying and learning the power of the Holy Spirit and His part in our lives...amazing. In teh sermon yesterday, our pastor, Craig Groeschel, talked about spiritual gifts and how we must use them for the kingdom of God! The test is pretty interesting (http://www.churchgrowth.org/cgi-cg/gifts.cgi?intro=1). Mine were Mercy and Pastor/Sheperd...dead on with accuracy:) Take it and let's talk about yours!!

4.) I loooove Scentsy...but I'm looking for a good wintery, warm scent...any suggestions? This citrus scent is getting a bit old now.

5.) Youversion.com! If you haven't heard about this you MUST check it out. It is an online Bible that not only has the Bible in several languages and translations, it also has audio versions, discussions, journals and so much more! And you can download it to your web based phone and take the Bible everywhere with you! Go to www.youversion.com and check it out.

6.) David Archuleta's Christmas Album= My all time FAVORITE Christmas album ever!

7.) Music by Dave Barnes, Brooke Fraser, Jimmy Needham, Matt Wertz. Enough said:) Can't get enough of those sweetly inspired love songs.

8.) Journals!!! I looove my journals. Mardel and Target have the best designs for them. I have three..one is completely filled and stored in a box under my bed along with other sweet stuff. And the others are current works in progress:)

9.) So today is a special day...for two awesome reasons! If you didn't know, today is World Orphans Day. This is such an important day to promote awarness for our precious children of the world that sadly do not have homes. Spend some time in prayer for them, or if you feel led to, sponsor a child from organizations like: Samaritans's Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org) WorldVision (www.worldvision.org) or Compassion International (www.compassion.com). These are fantastic organizations and they really have a passion for what they do!

So my other reason for this day being so sweet, is that I am incredibly blessed to be in a relationship with one of the most Godly guys I have ever met! It's really awesome what God has been doing through both of us in our lives lately, His timing is nonetheless perfect. :)

10.) Mocha Club and Invisible Children. Get involved...like now. :)

11.) God is good, awesome, powerful, loving, gentle, almighty, comforting, loyal, merciful, compassionate...our attitudes will reflect our heart no matter how hard we try to mask it. Is your heart pumping the blood of Jesus? Or is it clogged and strained by the worries and burdens of a life lived without our beautiful Savior? Want to know and experience a life that will never end in heartache and sadness, fear and regret? Let's chat:) I'll tell you about a love that will never leave you empty. Ephesians 1:7-8.

Have a happy Monday! :)
