Acts 20:24

It is a sweet, sweet morning! Fall is so close! I am in love with the fall season, it makes everything look beautiful and the weather is perfect.

So I just wanted to take a few out and write, even though there is a pile of homework screaming my name. Last night we went to see Charlie Hall at Journey Church. Yes, it was amazing. It was a very good worship service. There was something that stuck with me though, something that really resonated when Charlie began to speak about the love Christ had for "the sinners." Lately this has been on my mind...alot. It has become so easy for me to surround myself with the "good people," the ones that are close friends that are always inspiring and lifting me up. But what about the others? Charlie wrote a song called Hookers and Robbers, and let me just say I was so convicted the whole time he sang. I had to ask myself..."who have you reached out to?" More specifically, "who have you reached out to that is nowhere near Christ but desperately needs Him?" My answer is pretty pitiful to say the least. So I've been praying....non-stop over the past several weeks for God to let me be sensitive to others, to recognize when someone is hurting or broken and just reach out to them. Regardless of where they seem to be with Christ. It's so easy to talk about Jesus with other believers, but that's definitely not who we need to be telling about Jesus. Fellowship is great no doubt, but reaching out to the lost and broken is what we are called to do:) At this point God is still wrecking me. Still molding this messy heart into a heart that beats for His love and for the pain and heartaches of others. I love this season so much. No doubt it;s difficult and hard to see at times, but He is guiding me every step of the way. Christine Caine from Hillsong said this: "Getting involved with a lost and a broken humanity will always cost us something." I used to be afraid of that. Not anymore. So I want anyone who is reading this to ask themselves...What will it cost you?

Also ALOT of you know that I am crazy passionate about Invisible Children. My heart is so broken for the children of Uganda. As I wrote in my last blog my passion is growing daily for these children as I learn more and more about their stories, their pains and heartaches. I want to ask anyone to get involved! This prganization has been working for several years to resuce the children and now recover war torn areas of Uganda by providing schools and such. It is so great! There are tons of organizations out there (Love Wolrd Vision and Compassion Intl. too), good ones in fact. But Invisible Children is just plain awesome! You can donate money, hold screenings of the videos they have, but the clothes, sport an armband, hangposters...the list is endless! These children are silenced by fear and pain....and WE can change this! So go to www.invisiblechildren.com to learn more and be apart of changing the lives of these beautiful children.

I think that about wraps it up for today...I encourage you all to let others know what God is doing in your life, it can make all the difference in someone:)
Love you all.
