I came across those verses last night and I was so excited to share them with you guys! Lately I have been so amazed by the abundance of the love of our God that it's constantly on my mind and in my conversations. Kinda crazy how thinking about God's love will overflow into areas of your everyday life...it's the power of an amazing God methinks:)
I love the fact these two verses address how we love God. So often we hear about how God loves, He sent His one and only Son...(John 3:16), but do we ever really stop to take a look at how we love God? This is so beautiful! Imagine the smile on God's face as He listens to us sing worship to Him, talk with Him and share our lives with Him. He doesn't want our time spent with Him to be an obligation, a scheduled event we try to pencil in on a weekly basis. God wants
more than we are willing to give to others, more because He knows exactly how we tick and how we work. More, because our lives can so easily be distracted from the beautiful plan He has for us. More, because He deserves our love and complete devotion. (After all, His let the world tear His Son to pieces for us...um yeah he deserves it:)So let's change this verse up a bit...

Let that be your declaration to God today loved ones. Don't just tell the world about how God loves us, tell them how You love Him! Tell them how He sets you free, how He lifts you up and gives you new hope and peace for all the days to come. Tell the world that your love for God is something that will never be moved because it stands on the Rock..the very foundation of our love in this world.
